Don Greytak
For more than three decades, artist Don Greytak has helped tell the story of rural Montana through his remarkable pencil drawings. His work captures the people, landscapes, and traditions that define our agricultural heritage, preserving moments that might otherwise fade with time.
What began in 1992 as a partnership between Don Greytak and Montana 4-H has become a cherished tradition. Thanks to the vision of agricultural educator Tom Welch, Don's artwork found a new purpose: supporting Montana 4-H youth while celebrating the values that shape our communities. Since that first calendar, hundreds of Greytak illustrations have been featured, creating a collection that documents Montana's rural history and way of life.
Today, the annual Greytak Calendar remains one of Montana 4-H's most recognizable fundraising traditions.
